What is meant by regeneration! It's when a new mind is created on top of the original independent personality, which is true regeneration. Our protagonist goes back to the past from the present in order to fulfill his wish of becoming a star. However, when he goes back to the past, he loses his original memories and ends up with a completely new personality. Although his memories are subsequently restored, the original experience just becomes a memory existing in his mind...
